Abstract Submission Guidelines
- 1Last date for abstract submission: 31st August, 2026
- 2Submit your abstract at: https://samscon2026.com/abstract-submission
- 3ISA membership is mandatory for any type of participation.
- 4Registration for the conference is mandatory for paper submission.
- 5Post graduate students must be at least an Associate Life Member (ALM) of ISA for podium or poster presentation. Students must email a Bonafide certificate from HOD at the submission portal.
- 6Abstracts received after the deadline will not be accepted. Submit well in advance to avoid last-minute rush.
- 7A delegate can submit a maximum of one abstract.
- 8Abstracts must be original and must not have been published or presented at any other meeting.
- 9Submit as a Word document, written in simple English with word count not exceeding 250 words (excluding title, keywords, and references). Sentences should not begin with numerals. Standard abbreviations may be used without definition.
- 10The first listed author = presenting author (default contact for correspondence). Provide presenter's full name, professional address, and email. Maximum 4 authors per paper. Affiliations of all authors must be entered.
- 11All abstracts are reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Their decision is final.
- 12Acceptance letters will be emailed to the presenting author one week after the submission deadline.
What Should Be Included in the Abstract?
Title
Complete, relevant, including relevant statistical terminology.
Introduction
Background and Aims of the study.
Keywords
4 MeSH keywords.
Methods
Ethical Committee Permission, Patient Consent, Duration, Inclusion-Exclusion Criteria, Sample Size Calculation (Power of Study), Randomization Technique, Statistical Tests (P Values, Tests of Comparison, Software Version), Primary & Secondary Criteria, Definitions of Grades, Scoring Systems, Confounding Variables, Limitations, Rescue Techniques/Drugs.
Results
Demographics, Study Criteria/Parameters (Primary & Secondary), adverse/side effects.
Conclusion
Brief and relevant summation.
References
Two relevant references to be added.

What Should Be Included in the Final Poster?
- 🎯Make the final poster in a single PDF file — it will be an E-Poster.
- 📌Title section: Title of poster and name of presenting author.
- 📋Body headings required: Introduction, Abstract, Aims & Objectives, Methodology / Case Report, Preoperative–Intraoperative–Postoperative findings, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, and at least 2 References.
- 📊May include pie/bar diagrams, charts, illustrations, or photos.
- 💾File name should be saved with your name.
- ⏱E-Poster presentation: 5 minutes presentation + 2 minutes Q&A session.
